Role Overview

Mencap is seeking Full‑Time and Part‑Time Support Workers to join our team in Cranleigh. As a Support Worker you will support a small group of five people with learning disabilities, helping them with daily activities, emotional support, and social involvement in a shared chalet bungalow.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities at home and in the community, including cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry and gardening.
• Provide personal care support such as bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, and medication management.
• Encourage residents to make their own choices, support communication, and promote independence.
• Support residents during outings, meals, holidays, and social events.
• Maintain health and safety standards and manage household responsibilities.
