Support Worker – The Gables Residential Home, Whitehaven

We’re looking for a dedicated support worker to assist older adults with their physical and emotional well‑being, including personal care, medication support and encouragement of independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to residents.
  • Assist with medication administration.
  • Promote good nutrition, fitness and mobility.
  • Encourage emotional wellness and independence.

Qualifications and Experience

No prior experience or qualifications required. Any existing experience will be an advantage. Full paid training and development will be provided.

Eligibility Checks

Enhanced DBS Check with Adults Barred List required. The role involves working with adults in regulated activity; those on the barred list cannot apply.
