Support Worker – School Hours

Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a Support Worker to work within a school in Hereford. We work with schools across the local area, offering both long-term and short-term opportunities. We are currently looking for a full-time Support Worker to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, during term time only. Flexible working or a job share may be considered for the right candidate. In this role, you will provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The pupil spends time both in and out of the classroom, so we are looking for someone who is approachable, engaging and down-to-earth, while remaining professional and able to encourage learning within the classroom. The pupil enjoys sports and outdoor activities, so much of the support involves adapting learning to suit these interests while helping them stay focused and achieve their potential.
