Support Worker

About the Role

We are looking for a support worker to care for residents at the Newgate Lane home. The role involves assisting residents with daily living tasks, providing companionship, supporting mobility, and encouraging independence. You will help with activities such as shopping, leisure trips, and other community outings. The service supports residents with a range of needs, including verbal and non‑verbal communication, visual and hearing impairments, autism and learning disabilities.

Experience in a support worker or care assistant role is welcome but not required; we value strong interpersonal qualities and a genuine interest in supporting others.

A full UK manual driving licence and willingness to drive the service minibus are required.
