Role Overview

Calling all compassionate, caring and motivated individuals, Mencap is looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our fantastic team in Chippenham.

As a Support Worker, you’ll have the chance to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities. You’ll work with a diverse group of individuals, each with their own unique strengths, personalities, and support needs.

Responsibilities

• Support participants with everyday activities and provide emotional encouragement and companionship.
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with participants and maintain a person-centred approach.
• Assist with daily care routines, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport as required.
• Monitor participants’ physical and emotional wellbeing, reporting any changes to the supervisory team.
