Smithers Community Services Association is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join the Goodacre Place Supportive Housing program. You will deliver direct support to individuals experiencing homelessness, help with daily living activities, and facilitate access to vital services. Your efforts will significantly contribute to the wellbeing and empowerment of our tenants through a compassionate and inclusive approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide harm reduction and daily living support to tenants
• Conduct case planning and assessments under guidance
• Facilitate access to health and community services
• Build relationships and de-escalate crisis situations
• Assist with facility operations and safety measures
