Support Technician

SAOTA is seeking a highly organised and technically skilled Support Technician to join our Resource Centre and support the Architectural Research Team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong architectural foundation, excellent digital and graphic skills, and a passion for research, systems, and design excellence.The Support Technician plays a key role in assisting Architectural Researchers with internal office portfolios (EXCO/Executive Committee units), contributing to the development of office-wide templates, manuals, libraries, and digital resources that support our architectural studios.

Role Summary

The Support Technician supports the Research Team by preparing drawings, imagery, documentation, and digital assets for internal office use. The role involves working across architectural documentation, graphic design, research, and library support, using software including Revit, Adobe InDesign & Photoshop, Twinmotion, Lumion and the MS Office Suite.
