Job Overview

Support Assistant – Nights We are looking for a caring, compassionate person to assist and support colleagues in delivering outcome‑focused intervention to people living at our supported accommodation project, Ty Catwg, in the Vale of Glamorgan. You will support, enable and assist residents aged 16+ who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and have complex needs to make positive, sustainable changes in their lives.

Responsibilities

• Work three waking nights per week on a two‑week rolling pattern, supporting residents at Ty Catwg.
• Follow individual support plans agreed with service users and their support officers.
• Maintain project safety by adhering to safety and risk plans.
• Build positive relationships and adopt a “work‑with” approach to help residents achieve their goals and move on to independent accommodation.
