Job Description

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related technical field;
  • 8+ years in procurement or supply chain roles, with at least 4years in automation, special-purpose machinery, industrial equipment, or capital goods manufacturing ;
  • Proven track record of leading supplier development, cost negotiations, and end-to-end project delivery —not limited to PO processing;
  • Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and perform process-based cost breakdowns;
  • Strong knowledge of local Malaysian machining, sheet metal, heat treatment, and surface finishing capabilities and market rates;
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc.);
  • Strong ownership mindset and results orientation; able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment;
