Job Description

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand plans to support inventory and production requirements. Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast demand for SKU products.
  • Optimize inventory levels to achieve a balance between product availability and cost efficiency. Identify potential stock shortages or excess inventory and develop strategies to address them proactively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to align on demand planning strategies.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including forecast accuracy and demand variability.
  • Gather and compile data from internal and external sources, such as Demand Forecast from Sales and Marketing, Actual orders from Sales Admin, Sales data from MIS and other business tools. Provide statistics and reporting, draw and present conclusions and make recommendations based on facts analysis as required for the function.
