The Supplier quality/development engineer is a key player at MDI, responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy and compliance of purchased components and materials used in our modular products.
This role acts as a vital bridge between Engineering and Procurement teams, validating Bills of Materials (BOMs), confirming correct part usage against CAD designs (Onshape), supporting supplier technical development, and translating technical requirements into clear, actionable specifications for the purchasing team. This position is crucial in preventing errors, rework, and compliance issues in sourcing and manufacturing.
