Supplier Quality Supervisor

Job Description :

Reports to: Site Materials Manager or Purchasing Manager

Summary:
• Administrates and leads a group of technical professionals comprised of Supplier Quality Engineers, Component Specialists, Component Engineers and Receiving Inspection. Functions as a technical resource for suppliers and component issues, is responsible to drive manufacturing supplier related issues, periodic Supplier Evaluations, AMPL (Approved Manufacturer Part List) creation and maintenance, and Receiving Inspection management.

Main Duties:
• Supervises and gives direction to Supplier Quality Engineers.
• Serves as point of contact for supplier quality issues that require management intervention.
• Develops, maintains and oversees implementation of supplier reporting database.
• Assists in establishing inspection plans/procedures for Receiving Inspection function.
