MISSION


To supervise the quality of the components and materials received from suppliers, ensuring the quality standards defined by the Quality Plant Manager and by the Quality Purchasing Service.


GENERAL FUNCTIONS

  • Pay heed to problems related to incoming components or materials that can be raised at Plant Quality Meetings, and seek out a solution.
  • Provide support to other Quality Department service needs, in order to work in a coordinated way.
  • Communicate with the supplier involved in quality problems, requiring self-testing and preventive actions plans through the 8Ds methodology.
  • Follow-up on implementation of the preventive action plans with the supplier, inviting him/her to Plant Meetings when considered appropriate.
