Supplier Development Engineer (Semiconductor)

Job Overview

Supplier Development Professional responsible for “cradle to grave” quality management of Semiconductor devices and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Perform structured risk assessments to support sourcing of best in class semiconductor components for new product developments.
• Conduct regular APQPs to minimize quality and reliability risks with new component introductions. Utilize qualification standards to qualify new components and devise safe launch plans to ensure quality in production ramp‑up.
• Drive structured problem solving to identify root cause of quality concerns and ensure effective corrective/preventive actions are utilized at supplier manufacturing/testing processes to avoid reoccurrence of quality incidents.
• Conduct audits, technical assessments, and process reviews on‑site at semiconductor and subcon locations.
