SUPERVISORY POLICE OFFICER

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Police Officer in the Force Protection Division, Operations Department of NS NORFOLK SECURITY DETACHMENT. Responsibilities You will oversee the operations of the Security Department operating under pre-prescribed guidelines and procedures espoused by leadership. You will ensure leadership is immediately notified of situations or incidents that arise during the shift that may have an impact or be detrimental to the installation's security posture. You will provide input and recommendations to leadership on operational requirements, the deployment of effective counter measures, personnel, equipment, and resources needed to ensure an effective security program is provided to the installation.
