Summary This position is assigned to the Enrollment Eligibility Division (EED), Health Eligibility Center (HEC), Smyrna, GA. The Health Eligibility Center is responsible for support of the Veteran' health care eligibility and enrollment system, providing oversight of VA's health care application process, and ensuring eligibility and enrollment determinations for VA health care are rendered consistent with statutory, regulatory and administrative treatment authorities. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Utilizes subordinate supervisors in carrying out the work of the Division. Makes decisions on work problems presented by subordinate supervisors, peers, employees of the Division and management at all levels of the organization. Exercises significant responsibility in dealing with officials of other organizations or units, and in advising higher level management officials concerning the program directed.
