Supervisory General Engineer/Architect (Director)

Summary The Architect of the Capitol is seeking a Director to support the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director in the management, administration, and supervisory responsibility for the preservation, maintenance, and ongoing operations of the U.S. Capitol and Capitol Visitor Center. Oversees and directs the activities of the jurisdiction's engineering and facility operations staff and the Planning, Evaluation and Operations Branch, including the Business Financial Analyst (BFA). Responsibilities This position requires professional knowledge as an Architect or Engineer to perform planning and preventative maintenance and repair involving the oversight of contractors. Supports the Executive Director and the Deputy Executive Director in the overall management of the Capitol Building Jurisdiction.
