Position Summary
The Maintenance Operations Supervisor reports to the General Manager of Maintenance. The Maintenance Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating aircraft maintenance activities at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), including determining aircraft placement and identifying when servicing at remote locations is required. This role serves as a central point of coordination between JFK Local Maintenance, Maintenance Control, Maintenance Planning, and Station Operations, and Dispatch, ensuring clear communication, alignment of priorities, and efficient execution of maintenance operations.
Through active collaboration with these departments, the Maintenance Operations Supervisor directs workload distribution, aircraft placement and parking, Minimum Equipment List (MEL) application, and the determination of in-service and out-of-service aircraft.
