Responsibilities
Supervise hourly skilled trades in machining.
Collaborate with the technical support group to execute fabrication work scopes and resolve issues.
Assist in resolving machining and assembly issues based on experience and technical knowledge.
Report verbally and in writing on safety, quality, and production activities.
Address safety and quality issues presented during manufacturing and work with technical support groups to formalize corrective actions as needed.
This position is primarily for 5th Shift (weekend, nights). Flexibility to transition between shifts and work areas is essential for ensuring seamless operations across multiple departments. Availability for scheduled overtime is required.
Qualifications
Experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a union environment.
Prefer experience in machining and assembly with a minimum of 2 years in a shop supervisor/lead role.
