Job Description

As a Supervisor - Import, you will be responsible for overseeing the process of bringing goods and materials into a country, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and optimizing supply chain. You will supervise import operations, manage freight forwarder and customs brokerage providers, and contribute to process improvement. You will orchestrate efficient transportation and distribution strategies, managing relationships with suppliers and freight forwarders, and mitigating risks related to international shipping.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end import process, from supplier engagement to final delivery and customs clearance. 
  • Prepare and verify all necessary import documents, coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders, and oversee the logistics to ensure smooth and timely import processes.
