About the Job

Reporting to the Manager of the Edith Mac Men’s Emergency Shelter, the Supervisor of the Edith Mac Men’s Emergency Shelter is responsible for providing leadership and oversight to staff at the Men’s shelter. The main responsibilities include hiring, motivating, and supporting staff and client wellbeing, establishing, reviewing, and maintaining the program’s service delivery outcomes, and encouraging positive change and innovation within the team. The role involves managing a large team of professionals (PT, FT, etc.) in a 24/7 environment and translating strategic goals established by the Program Manager into practical action. The supervisor will also maximize relationships between clients, employees, and community partners.
