Supervisor, Central Processing

Position Summary: The CPD Supervisor will be provide guidance to the CPD staff members through all phases of the CPD processes and collaborate with other nursing departments to provide quality service to all recipients of CPD items. The main functions of this position will include: promoting team work among staff members, assisting manager in staffing plans, developing turn‐around plans for processed items, orientating personnel, demonstrating knowledge and proper handling of sterile equipment and supplies, maintaining / updating CPD computer assisting files and maintaining a clean work environment within the department. Experience: Two years experience in a central processing department that is responsible for processing Operating Room instruments.
