On‑Call Supervision Aides (West Side Vancouver Schools)

Salary: $26.82 per hour, plus 16% in lieu of advantages.

Hours: 2.5 hours per day from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

On-Call Employees are expected to be available Monday to Friday with a minimum requirement of three days per week and accept shifts on short notice.

Only applicants who are fully qualified will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during recess and lunch, indoors and outdoors, in all kinds of weather.
• Ensure student safety and enforce school rules.
• Intervene in potentially unsafe play situations and facilitate conflict resolution between students.
• Supervise students between recess and lunch, ensuring appropriate behaviour and completion of teacher‑assigned work.
