Superintendent - Bridge Structures - Toronto

The Site Superintendent plays a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of bridge rehab and construction projects valued between $5M and $50M. This position oversees day-to-day site operations for union-based crews, ensuring all activities align with project design, budgets, timelines, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, directing, and coordinating resources to achieve efficient, safe, and high-quality project execution. The superintendent also acts as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve issues, manage workflows, and keep projects on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan workforce, equipment, and material needs to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.
• Provide direction to subcontractors, coordinators, engineers, foremen, and junior site staff assigned to the project.
• Monitor site safety practices, promoting a zero-incident culture.
