Summer Trainee, Requirements Engineering

KONE Technology and Innovation (KTI) combines the physical world of elevators and escalators with smart, connected digital systems — helping billions of people move within buildings every day. Our R&D teams tackle complex challenges across hardware and software, blending agile working methods with emerging technology.

We are looking for a Summer Trainee to join our global High Rise Elevator product R&D Team in Hyvinkää, Finland, for 2–4 months between May and September 2025 (depending on your availability).

In this role, you will work on requirements engineering and management , contributing to processes, practices, and supporting tools. While tools such as Jama Connect may be used in our environment, the focus will be on capturing, organizing, reviewing, and improving requirements , regardless of the specific platforms applied.
