Substation Engineer
Calgary (AB), Toronto (ON), Vancouver (BC)
We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical/Substation Engineer to join our engineering team on a full-time basis. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment alongside an experienced technical team, where you will be continuously challenged in all aspects of the engineering and design process for high-voltage electrical facilities.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of substation design packages, including layouts, plot plans, bus elevations, ground grid designs, grounding details, cable layouts, and control building electrical design for voltage levels ranging from 25 kV to 240 kV.
Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to ensure design conformance.
Perform basic engineering calculations and assist in studies such as grounding, lightning, lighting, and AC/DC load studies.
