Our major client is seeking a Substation Professional Engineer (PE) to support baseline substation and protection & control (P&C) work, as well as new greenfield projects.
Responsibilities
You will lead substation electrical work packages on projects in the power utility, mining, industrial and renewables sectorsYou will prepare electrical design deliverables for 12kV to 230kV substations/ switching stations, including substation layout and cross-section design, equipment selection and specification, grounding and lightning shielding system design, control building/ E-house design, station services and switchyard lighting design, etc.You will perform electrical studies and calculations such as grounding studies, AC/ DC station services load and battery sizing calculations, rigid bus and lightning protection calculations, etc.You will review work done by other electrical engineers in the team including design...
