YOU...

  • design control systems for substations based on BCU for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems.

  • implement control software and perform verification using simulation tools and real-time test environments.

  • prepare design specifications, documentation, and effort estimations for the projects.

  • clarify technical requirements within project teams, as well as with customers and suppliers.

  • provide remote support during the commissioning and servicing of HVDC systems

  • work on the parameterization of bay control units (BCUs), ideally SIPROTEC 5 devices with DIGSI and CFC (Continuous Flow Chart)

  • apply your expertise in implementing the IEC61850 standard for substation control and data exchange with higher-level automation and SCADA systems
