SUBMARINE SHIP SAFETY MANAGER

Summary

You will serve as a SUBMARINE SHIP SAFETY MANAGER in the Operations Department (Code 0300), Submarine Program Manager (Code 0392), Submarine Ship Safety Manager (Code O392S) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Duties

• Manage the Code 300 ship safety surveillance program, including use of the Quality Performance System (QPS) for Submarine Ship Safety Program (SSSP) assessments.
• Review and update NNSY instructions and documents to ensure alignment with current Submarine Ship Safety (SSS) requirements.
• Manage the 6010 Submarine Ship Safety training and qualification program.
• Provide direction and guidance to ensure compliance with the 6010 Program Submarine Ship Safety requirements.
• Provide oversight for maintenance of all Safety of Ship off-yard submarine availabilities.
