SUBCONTRACTS MANAGER

The role

The Subcontracts Manager is a member of the Supply Chain Team and is responsible for the delivery of end-to-end Subcontract Management support to Saab Australia’s projects and programs, during pre-contract (bid) and delivery phase.

The incumbent is expected to be an active member of the Supply Chain Team and will support the Senior Subcontracts Manger in delivery of the service.

Further, the successful candidate will:

  • Design, Implement and Manage subcontract management processes including planning, sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, execution, management and delivery.
  • Perform supply chain risk assessments, undertake due diligence tasks, participate in make/buy decision making and provide expert knowledge in support of the capture/bid/project team.
