Job Description

Provide academic and computer support to students with a primary focus on proficiency in basic skills, Internet use, email, Microsoft Office, and Ivy Tech support platforms – MyIvy and Canvas needed in conjunction with subject specific knowledge.

Hourly Rate: $16.22

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assists students in the general use of computers.

  • Guides students in the use of software programs and/or web-based applications directly related to Ivy Tech coursework.

  • Maintains contact records for each student.

  • Provides individualized and group support in a manner that empowers students to become independent, successful learners.

  • Direct students to various departments to address additional support needs as appropriate.
