STUDENT - Technical Laboratory Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Chief Chemist, is responsible for assisting with tasks and duties in the Compliance and Quality Control Section, including but not limited to the following:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists the laboratory technicians with day‑to‑day routine sampling and experiments at the WPCP.
• Keeps lab tidy and assists with glass washing, data entry and sampling at the WPCP.
• Assists the Environmental Inspector with sampling and field work at SWRF as well as at public sites.
• May assist the Process Engineer at WPCP with special projects with Chief Chemists approval.
• Under the direction of the Chief Chemist, may take on special projects and other duties as assigned.
