New Directions are seeking Student teachers, graduating this year and Newly qualified teachers to cover a range of needs in local schools in the Rhondda Cynon Taff area. Our schools are looking for new, flexible, enthusiastic teachers to engage pupils and encourage new methods of learning. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in your first year of teaching and provides the opportunity to work with and build good relationships with the schools in the RCT area.

Teachers with experience of working with additional learning needs are also desirable as New Directions work with schools that have specialist units for pupils with: 

  • Autism and Asperger’s
  • Emotional and behavioural difficulties 
  • Communication disorders 
  • Hearing impaired
