This student role will support the Mannville Care Centre Recreation Therapy department, working alongside the Allied Health team to support programming and department tasks.

Description:

As a student, you will be working closely alongside the Allied Health team members, where you will support and contribute to effective and efficient delivery of Recreation Therapy services. Your role may include administrative duties such as tracking attendances, equipment inventory, program preparation and facilitation, cleaning supplies, etc. Under the direction of a supervising recreation therapist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, audiologist, or speech language pathologist, you will prepare and/or apply routine interventions, promote patient (client, resident) healthy living, self-care independence and motivate clients to actively participate in assigned therapy protocols or programs.
