Student Management - Youth Worker (Loyang) Responsibilities
  • Work closely with school leaders, teachers, and student management personnel to support student well‑being and behavioural development.
  • Identify and support a targeted group of students through individual and small group sessions, intervention programmes, and engagement strategies to enhance connectedness to school and build resilience.
  • Provide counselling and mentoring support, using counselling skills and techniques to encourage discussions of emotions and experiences, equip students with coping strategies, and act as a positive role model.
  • Help identify underlying issues such as social or emotional disadvantages, discrimination, poverty, or trauma to inform accurate planning of intervention measures.
