Job Summary:

Under the supervision of Technical Services staff, the Technical Services and Systems Student Employee will assist with the daily operation of the Technical Services Department. The Technical Services and Systems Student Employee performs a variety of essential tasks, including assisting with MeLCat (a statewide library resource sharing service) , checking in the library’s print magazines, processing new books for shelving, routinely checking the library’s database links to ensure access and usability, and providing support for collection development projects.
