Marcomm Integrated Business Solutions (a Division of Telecon Inc.) is currently lookingfor energetic and career minded individuals to take on the position of Structured Cabling Installation Technician with our team in Ottawa.

This job posting is for an existing vacancy.

The expected wage for this position is in the range of $23.00 - $25.00 per hour based on the richness and diversity of the candidate’s experience, training, skills and internal equity. The position or associated salary could vary depending on the profile of the candidate.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Installation of structured cabling (CAT 5E, CAT 6 and others) and optical fiber according to the requirements (diagrams)
  • Label cables according to defined standards
  • Perform the necessary tests after installation and makes the necessary corrections
  • Maintain strong customer relations through daily contact with customers
