Ensure proper risk assessment is in place to provide a safe working environment for workforce by periodically reviewing risks and hazards associated to workplace, executing control measures and communicate effectively to workforce.
Respond to technical queries from subordinates to account for timely project completion by consulting relevant parties such as mould loft and engineering department for practical solution.
Monitor quality of welding and NDT completion on end products to prevent carry over work to next station by preforming on site checks and reviewing NDT records.
Set daily targets for workforce to achieve to account for timely project completion by monitoring daily output and conducting daily reviews of the results.
Study production drawings to spot possible mistakes or possible fabrication issues to ensure production schedule can be met without unexpected delays by detailed discussion and review of drawings with technical staffs.
