Overview

A reputable Engineering Consulting Firm is looking for an innovative and dynamic Structural Technologist to join their team in Durban.

Key requirements:

  • BTech in Civil Engineering
  • Registered with ECSA as a Technologist
  • 5 years of experience minimum in the field
  • Must have a digital engineering drive and a 3D Analysis and design capability
  • Commercial or Industrial Structural analysis and design experience
  • Experience in Computer-aided analysis, draughting and design software . Prokon, Etabs, Safe, Autocad, Revit etc.

    • Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with structural designs
  • Prepare construction drawings
  • Prepare reinforcement layouts and schedules
  • Liaise with consultants and colleagues
  • Site inspections
