Job Description

Your Reponsibilities

  • You perform structural and thermal calculations for internal combustion engine components and assemblies, including static, dynamic, linear, and nonlinear FEM analyses
  • You create, develop, and optimize FE models using commercial simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS)
  • You assess component fatigue life using dedicated software (e.g. FEMFAT) and support design optimization
  • You analyze engine components like gears, spline shafts, bolted connections, torsional vibration dampers, etc. with dedicated tools
  • You optimize components with respect to weight, stiffness, strength, and fatigue performance
  • You define experimental validation approaches, analyze test results, and correlate simulation models
  • You evaluate simulation results and prepare clear and structured calculation reports
