**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil / Structural Engineer Intern that will support the civil and structural engineering team with planning, analysis, design, and documentation of infrastructure and building projects. APTIM civil and structural engineers lend their knowledge and experience to projects for the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, the Federal Transit Administration, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, local authorities (nationwide), commercial retail companies, oil and gas providers and various coastal protection authorities. Examples of engineering work include building design, waterfront structures design, foundation design, existing structures evaluation and design (concrete, masonry, steel and heavy timber), design of temporary structures for construction activities, demolition planning, construction rigging and lifting plans, mechanical system structural support design, and aboveground storage tank systems....
