Structural Engineer

Overview As a member of Garver's Buildings Team, the Structural Engineer will develop structural designs and documentation for various projects within the Buildings Business Line . Responsibilities include structural analysis, design, detailing, and construction administration for multiple structural systems, including: Structural Steel Reinforced Concrete Cold-Formed Steel Reinforced masonry Structural Wood Key Responsibilities: Conduct structural analysis, design, and detailing. Perform construction administration, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, conducting site observations, and preparing reports. Utilize BIM design software to produce structural drawings. Coordinate with other disciplines. Assist project managers and follow QA/QC plans. Manage multiple assignments concurrently. Continue education and learning based on project and team needs. Mentor and train less experienced staff. Assign and coordinate tasks with engineers-in-training and BIM professionals. ...
