Job Description
- Perform structural design and analysis for buildings, steel structures, foundations, and infrastructure works.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and design reports.
- Ensure designs comply with local authority requirements, codes, and standards (e.g. BS, Eurocode, MS).
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, M&E engineers, and drafters.
- Review shop drawings, method statements, and material specifications.
- Provide technical support during construction and resolve site-related structural issues.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure construction works follow approved drawings and specifications.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on structural matters.
- Evaluate structural risks and recommend engineering solutions.
- Support project planning, value engineering, and cost optimization.
