Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analysis, Design & Tools: 1. Knowledge of engineering software and their limitations including STAADPRO, TEDDS and other relevant analysis and design software i.e. STAADPRO foundation, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE etc. 2. Knowledge of analysis sequence; 3. Effective structural configuration and type of foundation, able to configure structural framing based on project requirements, structural modelling – to represent correct stiffness and boundary conditions, load modelling – as per client’s requirements, analysis and code check as project requirements and analysis, design & tools.
• Design basis, codes & specifications. Possess knowledge of codes, standards & client’s specifications and possess good knowledge of the current industry practices for architectural works, reinforced concrete works, structural steel works, foundation works and infrastructure/underground works.
