Structural Engineer

gpac is partnered with a Mechanical Contractor that is looking to add a Structural Engineer to their team.  The ideal Structural Engineer will have 5+ years experience in a similar role and can oversee the review and analysis of mechanical piping systems, prefabrication process, and structural supports.  

Structural Engineer Responsibilities:

• Conducting structural analysis and design reviews of mechanical piping systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Evaluating and approving prefabrication designs and processes for mechanical piping and structural supports.
• Collaborating with mechanical engineers and project managers to assess the structural integrity of piping layouts and support systems.
• Performing stress analysis and evaluating the impact of thermal expansion, vibration, and other dynamic forces on piping systems.
