Job Description:
Lead structural design from concept to construction for residential to complex projects, balancing engineering integrity, cost efficiency, and constructability.
Perform and approve advanced structural analysis and calculations, including alternative schemes and value-engineered solutions.
Use structural analysis and design software (STAAD.Pro, SAP2000) and BIM/CAD tools (Revit, AutoCAD) to create and refine structural models.
Prepare, review, and sign off structural drawings, BIM models, specifications, and technical reports in coordination with both design and construction teams.
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, standards, and project requirements while addressing commercial and schedule constraints.
Coordinate closely with project leads, design architects, MEP engineers, procurement, and site teams to align design intent with execution.
