Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for a Structural Engineer at our Tilden Mine facility in Ishpeming, MI. The primary responsibility of the Structural Engineer is to provide civil and structural engineering support to the Tilden Mine.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of civil and structural engineering projects such as cost estimates, material specifications, and design of structures, supports, and facilities. Direct and coordinate work performed by engineering consultants, contractors, and bargaining unit employees to monitor progress and ensure conformity to engineering plans, specifications, and safety standards. Provide civil and structural technical guidance and expertise to management, engineers, maintenance, and operating employees on a daily basis.
