Structural Engineer

Multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for their Huntington, New York office! Responsibilities: Lead/manage the design team in executing/delivering structural engineering assignments and plans Prepare calculations, charts and graphs Monitor work for code compliance and accepted engineering practices Projects include low to mid rise buildings and concrete structures Perform inspection/analysis of existing buildings Oversee development of construction drawings and design specifications for bids Develop proposal letter that includes technical scope and fee Prepare client letters and reports Manage projected financial budgets Mentor/train junior staff Requirements: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering 8+ years of Structural Engineering experience EIT required PE License preferred Experience managing budgets Supervisory experience Experience writing proposal preferred Know...
