Structural Engineer

Growing firm with reputation that goes back over 50 years looking to add a talented Structural Engineer to their Chicago team! Responsibilities: Preliminary/final design for steel and concrete highway/pedestrian bridge design Layout/detailing of projects (prepare plans, calculations, and construction specifications) Supervise team members and coordinate project activities Coordinate bridge inspections and report preparation Build/maintain client relationships, assist with setting financial goals, and identifying business development opportunities Train/mentor junior staff Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering 6+ years of structural design experience PE License in Illinois or Indiana SE preferred Proficient in MicroStation Knowledge of structural analysis software Geopak experience preferred Experience with preparing plans for Illinois and/or Illinois Tollway projects Understanding AASHTO bridge design standards Finite Element Modeling preferred Bridge inspectio...
