Structural Engineer

Job Description

A large consulting company with offices across South Africa working on large international projects is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their Cape Town offices.

Minimum requirements:

•Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Structural Engineering environment, within the built environment, preferably within a consulting engineering business

• A strong background in lateral design of structural using software such as Tekla, Etabs, or Robot.

• Experience with managing design teams, to complete tasks and produce high quality deliverables such as drawings, reports, schedules, and calculations on time.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, B.Eng. (Civil),

• Pr. Eng registration (beneficial)

• M. Eng in structural engineering will be advantageous.

• Previous exposure to datacentres, stadiums, education facilities, healthcare buildings, commercial buildings, warehouse...
